Groundbreaking on New National AfricanAmerican Museum

Construction has begun for the new National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) on the National Mall in Washington D.C. To celebrate this important event, U.S. President Barack Obama presided over the official groundbreaking ceremony, held on February 22, 2012.
