Golda Meir The Iron Lady of Israel

Golda Meir started out life in Russia, amid anti-Semitic pogroms. After emigrating to the United States with her family, she learned about Zionism and became impassioned. When she emigrated once again, this time to what was then called Palestine, she had found her cause and became a zealous advocate for the foundation of a Jewish state.
